What is the Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony?

The annual conference is hosted by Inc. magazine to recognize the 5000 fastest-growing, privately held companies in America—the celebrated Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000. This event celebrates the 27th anniversary of the list. The Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony is the only major business conference that recognizes the tremendous achievements of entrepreneurs in America.

What is Inc. magazine?

Inc., the only major business magazine edited exclusively for CEOs of fast-growing, private companies, delivers real solutions for today's innovative company builders.

It provides hands-on resources and market-tested strategies for managing people, finances, sales, marketing, and technology. Inc. also looks beyond work to address the entrepreneurial lifestyle. Inc. inspires and informs, with cutting-edge coverage that reflects our readers' energy, brashness, and imagination.

What is the Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 list and conference?

Since 1982, Inc. magazine has published a special Inc. 500 issue that recognizes the 500 fastest-growing, private companies in America. Past honorees include Microsoft, Oracle, Timberland, Morningstar, Jamba Juice, and Domino’s Pizza.

In 2007, Inc.com published the first-ever Inc. 5000 list—an expansion of the Inc. 500 list, now featuring the U.S.’s 5000 fastest-growing private companies.

Each year, the Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony brings together members of the Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 community—both a new class of honorees and the list’s prestigious alumni—for three days of powerful networking, inspired learning, and momentous celebration.

The event offers educational sessions, rousing keynotes, important networking, and unforgettable special events. Past speakers have included Former President Bill Clinton, Intuit founder Scott Cook, best-selling author and management guru Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, and many more business experts and leaders. The conference culminates in a black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony in which all current year honorees are recognized.

The Inc. 500/Inc. 5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony is open to current honorees, alumni, as well as other high-growth entrepreneurs.
